Sam was an incredible guide. A little context for my review, I was a solo female traveler and in Africa for the first time. I was nervous about what to expect, but Sam exceeded all expectations. He personalized the experience, keeping it luxury in terms of comfort but just wild enough to feel completely alive. He ensured I was safe, comfortable, and enjoying the experience, caring about the smallest details (like ensuring I was drinking water and letting me stream my music on the stereo). While Sam explained that sightings can be hit and miss, we got incredibly lucky and saw the big 5, plus checked my must have box of seeing an elephant up close. We even watched zebras cross the river at the early stages of the great migration. While I do believe I was lucky, he really went out of his way to set me up for success and I can’t thank him enough. I will be referring all of my friends to Sam, so would absolutely recommend you book him too.
